Lynne came to Autumn View Gardens with 36 years’ experience working with senior adults in skilled rehabilitation facilities, assisted living communities and adult day programs. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine and then a Masters in Gerontology from Webster University. Lynne’s most valuable learning experience came from caring for her aging parents and their placement in an assisted living community and skilled nursing facility. She gained insight into what families go through when they have to place loved ones in such facilities. Being part of a faith based community provides the foundation for seeing that residents are treated with the care and respect they deserve.
To me, serving seniors is a remarkable blessing! Assisting elders as they transition into a new season of life, patience and understanding are essential. I love our faith-based, grace-based philosophy of dealing with each individual. Providing each family with information for educated decision-making helps them make good choices for their loved ones. As a former private caregiver, activities program coordinator, and senior travel tour guide, I placed an emphasis on making life more joyous for those around me. I am doubly blessed bringing smiles, hugs, kisses (and prayers) to the seniors we help along the path to becoming part of our amazing community.
Tammy joined Autumn View Gardens in April of 2018. Tammy became an RN in 1994 and the majority of her career has been in long term care. She has a great love for helping people and specifically the geriatric population. Her 26 plus years of experience include geriatrics and hospice. Tammy brings a great wealth of knowledge and experience to the team; she has a big heart and a caring personality. Autumn View Gardens is her home away from home and is a fantastic place to work. Tammy says, “The relationships and friendships with staff and residents really warms my heart.”
