Assisted living at Autumn View Gardens offers active seniors a home-like atmosphere while providing individualized care and personal assistance with normal daily activities. We provide supportive around-the-clock care in an intimate environment that allows our residents to thrive physically, socially and emotionally.
Physical care is a critical component of assisted living, but it’s our social lives that truly add meaning to our days. At Autumn View Gardens, our residents enjoy each other’s company. They eat together and play games and connect in a way that complements their physical care and keeps their minds sharp and their spirit young.
Upon arrival, our Health Services Director meets with new residents and families to develop a personal care plan, which includes an assessment of the resident’s physical and psychological needs. We review this plan and update it regularly or as needs progress.
We strive to offer as much autonomy as possible while providing a strong safety net and supervision to meet the needs and preferences of each resident. Assistance ranges from medication management and arrangement of medical appointments, to simple assistance with dressing and bathing.
Assisted living apartments should feel like a true home for each resident, and that can’t happen with a one-size fits all solution. Every resident of Autumn View Gardens in Creve Coeur has unique needs and goals, and our staff is sensitive to that. One way we support each resident while also maintaining the safety of the whole community is through partnerships with expert vendors and organizations, including Stanley Healthcare. Here are just some of the ways this technology protects your loved one.
Arial, a wireless emergency notification system, alerts staff if any exterior door is opened unexpectedly. Because Arial doesn’t allow a remote reset of the alert, a staff member must go to the site in question, inspect the area and ensure a community member is not locked out or wandering outside.
A Wander Management System, an upgrade from Stanley Healthcare, is installed on the front door of the community. Because many residents, family members, staff and vendors must enter and exit the community at all times of day, the front door won’t sound an alarm every time it’s opened. Instead, the technology alerts staff only when an at-risk resident travels through the door. These residents wear a small Bluetooth bracelet that lets the Wander Guard Blue system identify them.
